Halloween Pajama Edit

Cue the Monster Mash on repeat, flying Hocus Pocus quotes, Sabrina on in the background, more candy than you eat in a year…that’s right.  It’s Halloween ladies.

And what more festive way to bring in the holiday season than celebrating with pajamas.  Sets for you, him, the kiddos, because as I said for the 4th of July, there’s something so fun and season elongating by adding holiday jammies into the mix.  It’s the easiest way to suddenly feel fall-y, festive and a small trace of special tradition with the family.

In honor of the great pumpkin season, here’s the BABBLE round up with some of the best pajama options from a range of retailers that maybe you’ve heard of, and perhaps you haven’t.  Either way, there’s an option for everyone to enjoy the post-halloween hangover (candy or libations induced) Sunday morning.

For the Family

When it comes to full family matching sets, I don’t know if anyone does it more beautifully or sophisticated than Petite Plume.  Their Hallow’s Eve Toile collection this year dresses you and the family in pajamas that feel intentional rather than a Spirit Halloween run.  No other family in the neighborhood will be wearing this.  Tres chic.

Or maybe you and the family love that bright merriment that is the Halloween orange.  Bed Head PJs has you covered with their hand-drawn print that is genuinely fun without a huge price tag.

For The Kiddos

Well, it wouldn’t be a holiday jammie round up without Miss Hanna Andersson making herself known.
For incredibly fun prints that are gender-neutral and gender specific, Hanna Andersson has an incredible range of holiday pajamas for kids and adults alike.  Personally, I find their women’s pajamas a tad unflattering on my body shape but good golly Miss Molly.  The kiddo pajamas are incredible.  Wonderful quality, comfortable and while they look like they may be too small, they stretch beautifully but their super power is their retention.  I’ve had pajamas go through 2 kids now and they still hold their shape and the prints look almost as sharp as they day I bought them.  A little on the pricier side for kid pjs, but absolutely worth the hype.

Another incredible brand is Burt’s Bees Baby.  You may know them for their hygeine products, but their kid pajamas have fantastic staying power.  One set I had for my first babe and it’s come and gone on the third kid and in the hand-me-down box to our niece.  These pajamas have staying power.  Cute prints, large range of sizes for matching all the kids and they feel awesome.  I can really attest to this being a great brand for kiddos.

Okay, I’ll stop gushing and let you shop for fun Halloween memories for the little ones.

For You - But Not So On-The-Nose

And most of the time, I want something not so on-the-nose when it comes to holiday pajamas.  Sure!  Let those kidlets run around in their halloween pajamas all year long, but me?  Sometimes I want to invest in something that feels festive, but not theme-y. Black and orange does not have to mean pumpkins and ghosts.  Instead, choose a beautiful black silk pajama set with an orange bra to sleep in.  Or perhaps a super-soft set from Negative in their amazing orange colorway this fall with a comfy black bralette underneath?

And yes.  That is a nursing bra I recommended down there.  Don’t sleep on this find, rather, sleep in it (see what I did there?).  I’ve had mine for years and it is the most comfortable bra to sleep in.  It’s a crossover meaning no clasps or closures like a traditional nursing bra.  I love it because it moves with you, you’re not fighting it, it’s soft and retains its shape.  In my opinion, a great sleeping bra even if you don’t have a baby crawling in with you in the middle of the night.
